My career in commercial art and advertising shows in my current work. I have spent a lifetime looking at details and eradicating imperfections on behalf of critical customers. In the few years that I have been free to pursue my art full time, I’ve come to see that both my work and I are the products of that experience, and that is the only currency I have to operate with. I follow where my instincts lead and try to enjoy the successes and failures alike as they all become memories consigned to history. I feel very fortunate to be able to say that.
